Day 1: Arrive in Lhasa

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to a 3 star hotel near Barkhor street.

Day 2: Lhasa Sightseeing

Today we’ll visit the main sights in Lhasa such as Potala Palace, Jokhang temple and Barkor street. Overnight: 3 star hotel in Lhasa

Day 3: Warm up around Lhasa

We will make warm up by riding around Lhasa and Kyichu River. In the evening, we will have a dinner from local cultural restaurant, and instruct for following days activity. Overnight: 3 star hotel in Lhasa

Day 4: Set out for Nagartze. Ride 45km

Our bike journey from Lhasa with vehicle support and guide. We will drive 100km until Khamba La pass (4794m/15728 ft).  The crocodile shaped Yamdrok Lake is immensely look great from the top of the very pass. Then, we will start cycling and ride along the lake to the west. We will camp near the lake closed to Nagartze, a fishing Tibetan town near the holy lake.

Day 5: Ride to to Gyantse. Ride 70km

After breakfast, we will ride through of Karo La pass (5010 m/16437 ft) with spectacular sight of a huge glacier of Mt. Machen Gangsang. There are beautiful valleys and villages along the way until we arrive today’s camping place.

Day 6: Drive to Shigatse, then Ride to Tso La Ride 33km

Visit Gyantse Dzong (fort) and Kumbum monastery early in the morning. Then drive to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. We will visit Tashi Lhunpo Monastery and have lunch there. Then start 33 km on the best section of the route towards Tsolha-pass. Camp below the pass.

Day 7: Tso La - Lhatse. Ride 70km

A full day biking on the smooth road with 4000 meters up in altitude. We will camp beyond Lhatse town.

Day 8: Lhatse - Rongphu. Ride 40km

Drive up to Gyatso La pass (5248 m/ 17150), which is the highest paved pass one in Tibet. We will drive further, a spectacular view of Mt. Everest and turn left drive up to the Pang La pass.  Again start biking downhill to Tashizong. Then, drive to Rongphu monastery which is the highest monastery in the world (5000m/16404ft) We will either camp or stay at the monastery guesthouse for this night.

Day 9: Rongbok - Everest Base Camp - Dingri. Ride 36km

Biking adventure to the Everest Base Camp (6km) in the early morning and further explore from the view point. We will take the short-cut short Old Dingri with a great trail for biking. Stay in a guesthouse in Old Dingri or camp.

Day 10- Tingri - Lalung La. Ride 70km

A full day biking through Tibetan villages, grasslands, and ruins of forts in the distance. Himalayan ranges are most spectacular at large. Camp near the small village of Sumo.

Day 11 - Lalung La to Nyalam. Ride 85km

Lalung La pass (4850 m/15912 ft) and Yarle Shung La pass (5050 m/ 16568 ft) are quite tough at the starting but an easy end with a descent road all the way lower. Stay in a guesthouse.

Day 12: Nyalam - Kathmandu. Ride 55 km

Biking all the way down from Nyalam (3800m) to the Nepal border (1800m), then drive to Kathmandu which will take about 5 hours. Hope you enjoyed our cycling tour
